It kinda sounds like rotors not cut true or calipers not returning fully from the front at times, other times I think wheel bearings because it happens in a right hand turn occasionally then stops when I straighten out. Are Locking hubs hard to take apart to inspect brakes or repack wheel bearings? Does this sound like 2 different problems?
Are your hubs locked?? They tend to make some noise esp on dry pavement in a turn. Nature of the beast. Not a problem to take apart, just take out the allens and pull, a clip holds the guts in. If you plan on repacking your wheel bearing you willneed a special socket avail at most parts stores for about 20 bucks.
I just bought a set of pads and in the kit there are clips and insructions (yes some people do read them even if most don't need to)that list this prolem if the clips aren't installed propely I'm not sure but it could be that your calipers aren't retracting far enough?? But I'm a newby so someone else will probably know better!!!

IF your hubs are unlocked and you hear the noise, You are right on track. Disassemble the hubs & bearings, clean and relube. Check the ujoints on the axles too, they should move free and smooth, if in doubt replace them while you have the hubs apart.
Thanks guys, I bled the brakes this morning hoping air in the lines was heating up and making noise. No such luck on the fronts but I'm hopeful that was the culprit for the rear. It stops better now. I will plan on repacking the front bearings next weekend. Anybody got an exploded view? I just need a strong back, a week mind, an inner seal and a can o' grease right? Do the hubs get greased? Is there an outer grease cap that gets tapped back on over a spindle nut and cotter pin or is this part of the locking hub assembly? I'll figure it out as I go as well as read up on previous posts too. This forum is great for getting ready to do a job :-) BTW my vac pump isn't a problem. it pumps down to 22 mm hg and stays there with the motor off for more than a half hour.
