Just to give an update, I did buy one, and like others have said it works great. I highly recommend it to any other interested ZF owners.

Hope this is helpful. You will enjoy the shorter throw. I can keep my right hand on the wheel when shifting from 2nd to 3rd. Big improvement over stock.

I don't have any pic's. The stock upper shifter is used. After it is installed it looks the same. The shifter is the same height. The only difference is the distance between the shifts are 40% less. I don't have to move my short arms as far to shift. It makes for faster shifts which in turn are smoother because there is less rpm drop. But these are truck transmissions so you can only shift as fast as the transmission will allow.

I just finished the install. It was very easy. Only mistake I made was removing the rubber boot before removing the screws, so I ended up tearing it. The shifts are shorter, IMO I wouldn't say they are 40% shorther though.....maybe an inch. Regardless, it still makes a difference. IMO it also seems like the shifting is tighter now to get it into gear.......which I like. If you have any questions, PM me.

Glad to hear you got her installed. Make sure you get a good seal with that boot or you will get exhaust fumes in the truck. I was told by Dan that it was 40% shorter throw. It takes a little time to get used to it and the shifts will loosen up with time.

Yup, Dan with midwesttrans has them available. His contact info is below. Just make sure you let him know you have the 5sp and not the 6sp
