BD diesel also makes a kit... how hard is that to install?

Install is simple, Just remove 4 screws that hold the plastic boot down and then 4 bolts that hold the shifter onto the top of the tranny. Swap the pieces out and reinstall... I know BD makes one of these but this brand is 1/2 the price of the BD one....:-X22

ill let you know after the weekend... that black boot is busted so I dont want to install it until I get a new on installed or I will loose all my fluid.

Just ordered one from Dan. Should be here in a week. It shortens the shift by 40%. I will let you guys know how it works when I get it installed.

the one from BD is $400 and says that it shortend the throw by 20%, the one from "Dan" is only $200 and shortends the throw by 40%? whats the difference? and how do i get ahold of Dan?

May I request pics of the shifter in each gear once you get the shifter installed back in?...I would like to see the throw from gear to gear if possible.
