it looks to be an early 99. we are looking at the wrong side to know about the heater but the lower legs are smaller than the upper inlet/outlets so they should be the one for the 2 inch intakes. I would ask the seller for a pic of the other side but I am 99% sure its a early 99
I've been looking for one of these forever. I've seen them sell for ~$200, but Tim, tjbeggs, got a real good deal on one IIRC.
All I want one for is to make a pattern. I'm going to make my own. But I'm not joing to join the tubes together where the hot and cold pipes are touching on the OEM part. Too much heat transfer IMO.
there is a great link to a photo (not mine) of a modifed stock y-pipe. tha flange was cut off and welded to an elbow with an expanded section to the IC then the remaining y had an elbow to recieve the incoming IC tube.

Tim, that's pretty much what I intend on doing except for the welded connection. I think the cold and hot pipes shouldn't touch. Banks makes something similar. I read some where (likely banks) that the hot side will tranfer as much as 100F into the cold side. IDK, but it kinda makes sense. It's amazing how much the air heats up when you compress it.
