Alarm System?
I was lookin arround my 03 today and seen some wiring that did not look like it came from the factory. So I kept looking, and found a little yelow box that had a wiring diagram on it, listing things like igintion disable, start disable, ect. Is this factory? I am thinking aftermarket? It had a logo in the other side the with letters MAS. I do not know what to think now. There is wires leading to the ignition, ect. I have no paperwork, remote, ect for this system. What can I do some day if it goes off and I can not start it? Thanks for any suggestions!

Usually when they put an aftermaket alarm system in they put in a siren which is usually installed under the hood towards the driver side towards the back. All three of the diesels had the siren installed in the same place.
There should also be a valet switch up under the dash on the driver side.

I just had an aftermarket put in my 03. No siren. Everything goes through the horn (damned annoying to my wife...hope it is to any potential thieves also!!). However, I think all aftermarkets will have either a blue or red (or some other color...those are most common) light somewhere on the left side of your console. If it had an aftermarket and was removed, there is probably a little hole there where that light used to be. Can't help much beyond that.
