My truck was broken in to 2 years ago by someone punching the lock on the passenger door with a srewdriver. This not only unlocked the door, it also deactivated the factory alarm. I then had a Viper aftermarket alarm system installed. Recently, the factory alarm (honking horn) started going off when you open a door. It only happens on occasion but i don't think my neighbors appreciate it going off at 5am when i leave for work! Is there a way to disable the factory alarm??? I don't know what caused this to start happening. Everything worked fine for about a year. Thanks!
