Assuming your talking about the REAR bumper by the tailgate and fender refference, it will bolt up for a 100% fact. They havent changed any styling on the rear of the Ranger in our body style since 93. Unless you count the step bed like mine. I'd say go for it w/o a hessitation!

Just by looking, it looks like from basically the cab and back most everything has stayed the same. Guess that is good if we ever need parts - there should always be some in the junkyard.
It visually has with the exception of refinement in the taillight wiring requiring different taililght housings after a certain year. Not sure what year tho.
RP: My Ranger like Tiggies came with a plastic mounting bracket. The holes you used to mount your plate is where our mount attached and extends out till even with the top of the holes in the front bumper. Tabs go up inside/behind the top of those wide holes to keep it still. Here's somewhat of a visual.
Git-r-done! But you may stumble thru the boneyard and come across one on a Ranger or about anyother steel bumpered truck/suv out there. I did that for my sister's 94 Jeep Cherokee.
Since my question is answered now...Tiggie...how'd you move your license plate up like that, and what wheels are you running?
My plate came like that (see pic). It's got some kinda plastic bracket thing too. I'm sure you could find one in a junkyard some where pretty easy.
Wheels are Cragar SS 15X7's. They actually aren't on the truck right now, they are on my car. The Cragars don't like salt so I run my stock wheels in the winter.
Like you said, my stock taillights were Brake/Backup/Turn. When I put in the TYC tails, I had to slightly modify the harness to use the Turn/Brake/Backup setup they came with.
Looks like an HHR to me...nose seems too long for a PT Cruiser.
Well I might have to get me one of those...it looks better than having the plate just bolted to the bumper, though I do hope it won't cover up my fog lights, if so that plate will be going right back where it came from lol.
