Guys, Take this for what it is worth(?). I was watching "Two Guys Garage" one day. They recommended a product to help with Power Steering Pump whine (and mentioned Ford pumps as being a problem). The product was Lubegard Power Steering Pump Protectant, an additive to add to your fluid. I have not used it, but it peaked my interest because I had a Bronco that whined from the day I got it new. I have since gotten a 2000 EB 4x4. So the problem went away. At any rate the stuff is about $5-$6, so it might be worth a try. If you should try it please post you thoughts.
May need to try this Lubegard Power Steering Pump Protectant product. I know Ford's have the steering whine, but I feel mine may be reduced with the addition of this product. Will let you guys know.
