Looking at a 96

Hey Folks,
Im looking at buying a '96 f250. Is there anything I should pay particular attention to? I currently own an '85 diesel - not turbo'd. Turbo's are a whole new world to me but im going to at least go and look at the truck.

Any input you can give is much appreciated!

Thanks,
Al Conforti

Read this entire web site. When your done you will be a guru, well closer atleast!

There is a section just for the question you have asked. If you have questions after checking that out come on back and we can help you. Checking the turbo wheel will tell you alot about the truck. If it looks lightly sand blast it not good but acceptable. if it has larger chunks missing its bad. if means that what ever hit it went int he engine along with the bit of turbo that it took out. also maintence records are always good to have it possible.
