Yes, but that is the WRONG thing to do. Early 70's 351C and 400 points distributors will work. The DS-II system is the best ignition system, is simple to use, and will outperform the points systems, -not to mention maintenance and fuel economy issues.
I would like to know if the 351M can be converted to points or if there is a points distributer that will interchange?
