Explorer Sport Track 2005, 4WD, XLT CABIN FILTER

Hello. I have the Sport Track 2005 and I am suffering with the cabin filter (or pollen filter). I CAN NOT FIND ANYONE WHO SELLS THIS FILTER. I have spent at least five hours on the internet and nothing comes up for this filter. Can anyone let me know where is this filter located in the truck and where I can buy a replacement to change it?.
Thanks in advance.

Do you know for sure that the Sport Track has a cabin air filter? You might check with a Ford dealer to find out if it even had one when it came from the factory. The dealer should be able to tell you over the phone if it has one or not. If it does have one it may still be a "dealer only" item.

Hi, Well, my dealer says it has one, but i tried to find it out on the places all the filter manufacturers say it must be and I can not find it. When the AC flow starst to be low, the answer is dirty cabin filter. In the propetary manual says nothing about this, and that is why I am concern. I am not sure if i am getting a good service or the guys are lying me. Need help.

I noticed in your public profile you are not in the United States. Is your Sport Track from the United States? If it is then it won't have a cabin filter. If your truck was made in your country or one next to your country then it may actually have a filter. You may need to take the truck to the dealer and have them show you where it is, so you can change it yourself.

Yes, I believe it is the only good solution. I was trying to avoid paying 150 US$ for this filter (the price in my country) because I am going to be in the US next week, and I was trying to buy it, but , I have no option, but to pay this time and try to find new ones in the US later for later replacements.

thanks a lot for your advice

Will your dealer charge you just to show you where the filter is? Is the dealer the only one that can change the filter because they have the correct tools? If your truck was made in your country then you won't find that filter here in the US. You might be able to buy the filter at a parts store in your country or at the dealer you go to in your country. Then you could save some money if you put it in yourself.
