if in fact there isn't a cabin air filter (which would be an ignorant design IMO) I will be finding a way to add one. I drive in some really dusty conditions in the summer and I refuse to be choking in my own cab. doesn't seem practical to design a system that draws in raw, dirty air.
After doing some more research i found a site that said there is a kit you can buy that is probably the housing for the cabin air filter. I imagine somewhere before the fan blower the truck would have an area to mount this housing and drop a filter in. Must be something like the filter for your house furnace so you have clean air blowing around your cab. Like i said earlier my cars was really dirty, i actually found out about the filter because the fan blower went out and when i went to the parts store the guy said if the filters plugged it could have taken some life off the blower by making it work harder or overheating. This was on my car after 48,000 miles, when i bought the new filter the box said to replace the filter every 12,000 miles or one year, so it was way over due because i knew nothing about it until too late. I guess if you have a cabin air filter it should be figured in to your regular scheduled maintenance.
