Ranger Drum Brakes

Can anyone suggest good diagrams or photos of drum Brakes on '86 Ranger? The pictures in Haynes are some of the most abysmal photography I've ever seen. Particularly concerned with the clip that holds the parking brake lever to the rear shoe. Can't believe how mickey mouse it is. I just have to keep reminding myself I do this to relax

Check the tech info page. See if this works for your model. I just replaced mine 2 weeks ago.

The clip is like a snap c-ring. It doesn't see much load, stress or movement....just simply keeps the e-brake lever arm from slipping out at the pivot. If you're into a repair, I suggest that you install a new one instead of reusing the old which can "stretch" when removing.
