Modifying hinges for hood???

Is there any kits out there for hoods that enable you to open it up towards the front.... meaning the hinges would be at the front of the truck. It would be nice also if it could come off easy...that way the motor can be worked on.... This would be to display something painted on the hood.

I like that idea better. I don't see it very often, but I see the forward tilt quite a bit. As for the forward tilt, I didn't know if they might have a generic or you might be able to modify one to fit.

I do like the split... I think that is cool. But I am looking to hinge it forward to display an airbrushed graphic on the hood and it would be nice for it too come forward to show it off and plus there is alot more space to work with... instead of having two different images to do.

Anybody done this before?
