Thumbs up

I voted for all three locations. My weekends are open, so I will not present a date.

Hope to see all at the G2G!

The bay is nice, probably one of the better areas to do a GTG at.
I'm going to suggest early to mid-May. I know that's still a ways off, but might be better weather then. I should be financially recovered from my spending sprees by then, and have something decent to present at a GTG..............

All are great locations. Fathers Day weekend is June 17 as a reminder and for the Mother's, May 13. Memorial Day weekend, 2nd, 4th and last weekend of June we(family) are all way out in the sticks. Otherwise, setter up and the portable fridge is moving.

Keep Updated in the G2G Thread

I started this 'Poll' thread to gather information from the chapter members...I will be posting the pertinent information in the G2G Thread, so stay informed about specifics there.

The 'Location Poll' is scheduled to end 15 Apr 07. At that point, I hope to have enough input from everyone so I can contact the venue, and reserve a good date.

When posting to the poll, and giving preferences for dates, it may also be a good idea to state whether or not you want to camp over on Saturday or just do a day trip.

Also, I will need to get a good idea of how many people. If you look at the 'Chapter G2G' thread, you will see that I will be negotiating based on numbers, so please post how many in your group.

Hopefully, by 21 Apr 07 I will be able to 'formally' announce our G2G.

Does anyone know If thare is an ORV near Ocean Shores? I just thought that Ocean shores would make a great G2G site. It has a beach to cruise. Camping, and even Hotels for the "show girls". It has a few bars for night life restaurants for breakfast and even a Dairy Queen for the kiddies if anyone besides me has one or three.

I just realized that we are in a dead heat for the G2G anyway

I've been so busy I haven't been as active in the chapter as I'd like to be. Unfortunately due to my work schedule this G2G comes at a time of year when it's near impossible for me to make the trek to the other side of the state. Dammit, I'd really like to be able to go!

Mike, you voted for all three of the places so what good is that vote in the poll?

I'll only go to the Whidbey loc on any date, cause I'm a spoiled dude that don't like to drive anymore than i stinkin' have to. The South Whidbey State Park will open soon (gotta' drive by it for the date) it's wooded and on the seashore. Surf Casting! If anything's in season, bring your rods.

*I'm out for a week -- Donna's father died last night and we're heading to Portland in a few hours. Bill was a good man, good husband and good father, we're missing him already.

I voted for all three because I am game to be at any of them. Depending on availability, we may need to have a second choice, that is why I made the poll capable of multiple votes. Whidbey is probably may end up being the best choice, because it can accomodate the most people. Besides, I am still a kid, and love the ferry rides...LOL My truck will have to get her sea legs though!

Sorry to hear about Donna's dad. You have our condolences.
