Fuel pump power issues.....
R= E/I or 12.6/ 30 = .42 ohm.
8 ohms won't blow a 30 amp fuse. (I) current = 12.6/8 or 1.6 amps.
Max current draw shoud be at least 10 or more % below the fuse rating or about 25 amps or less. If you plug these estimates in to a calculation, the circuit reaistance should be no more than R=E/I or 12.6/ 25 = .5 ohm max.
Doesnt sound like a big difference between .42 and .5 but these are very specific and make a large change in circuit current.
The actual resistance difference you have is larger. i'm sure.
