Painting the top?

Does anybody know if the removeable top on our broncos can be painted and look somewhat decent? Thanks.

Hey Eric,
there shouldn't be any problem painting it, it should be like anything else thats fiberglass I've got a friend who's like the Merlin of auto body and I'll ask him and get back to you.

Painting the top?

I painted the top on my '85. It was almost completely white. It soaked up a lot of paint, but it looks great. My biggest problem was getting the paint nice and even. Some areas soaked up a lot and some did not.

My top is black, and I painted it with a foam trim roller. The results were very good. The textured surface makes it easy to roll on.
