Headlight Wiring Upgrade

Did the headlight wiring upgrade with the heavyer gauge wiring and relays, Boy did it ever make a difference. I'd say at least 50% more light output. well worth it IMO. All it cost me was the sodder and heat shrink, As I got the wire and relays at work.Now to add daytime running lights and auto off features.

Excellent ..it is well worth the time and money

I hope you used Bosch Relays ?

If not you may end up replacing the ones you put in.

On a personal note:

I sure hope you and your family are doing good these days ?

Agree that it makes a big difference. I bought the kit from LMC when they had it on sale a couple months ago and am really happy with the result. I may kick it up another notch and put some argon bulbs in eventually.

Kirksville huh? I am finally about to retire and return to Missouri after tours in South Dakota, Idaho and out here in California. I can't wait to see real trees again, lightening bugs and hear the cicadas in the evening. I am so sick of pines, sage brush and aspen I can't wait to see Oaks, Maples, Birch, Sycamores etc etc etc etc..... I will probably brak into an uncontrolable sobbing when the first fall arrives and the leaves change to something other than yellow and green. -gggg- I feel like a kid about to go to disneyland.

Yes, they were bosch relays (used) got about 15 of them for spares.

There is a write up on this in the article/specs at the very top of the page just follow the wiring diagram there.

I've been thinking about doing this upgrade. If you guys believe it makes that much of a difference, I'm sold on it. You can guess where my next paycheck is going.
