Smile Weekend progress: Again!!!

OK folks it's time to fess up. How much did you get done on your truck this weekend?
I got my Bronco II steering column installed. Trial fitted the seats too, but I need to replace the seat runners with the original bench seat slide.
Decided it was time to crawl under the parts truck and pull the brake pedal off, didn't know it was so much trouble to get the clutch assy. off so that the brake pedal can be removed.
Loaded some more pics to my gallery, enjoy

OK, go ahead and gloat.

I got nothing done on the truck this weekend. I did, however, get my new compressor installed. I added an overhead hose reel to clear more floor space also. Very nice setup and very capable compressor. It is a 220v, 16cfm, 29 gallon job that will run everything I have and HVLP spray guns also.

Lots of work done........just not on my truck..........picked up a free 75 raised roof E250 camper van, possible steering column donor for the 53, its rims/tires are going on my 89 F250 4x4..... did buy some dollies to put under the wheels of the 53 so I could push it to one side of the shop...that allowed me to fit in my friends Explorer with the tranny that only worked in reverse...then proceeded to spend most of today removing the dead tranny.
All in all I guess not too bad a weekend, just never got to work on what I really wanted too :-)

Brian, I almost sold it last year for $500, before I decided to use it for a donor. So far I figure I have used at least that much out of it and still sold the engine for $300.
Everything in my yard is subject to be robbed of needed parts at times. The ****** parts that found their way into the truck are from my 4 wheeling days.

Remind me to not park in his yard if I ever get down that way. I would come out to a bare chassis (or less).

Never ever throw away parts. Parts is parts. That is the packrat in me talking.

That's my problem when I get in the scrap hauling mood, can I part with it or will I need it someday.
