I was messin around on the Ford build & price site, and I noticed there was no option for the V10 engine on a 2007 E 350. Only the 5.4 and 6.0 PSD are offered.
Is this a year end thing, or was the V10 not available all year ('07)? Or last year?
Seems there's alot of stuff you can't get on the 350 Wagons that you use to.
Another of Fords "Better Ideas"?
I think it truely is available. I was reading that the V10 is available in the 2008 so I don't think it ever went away. It's very popular in the cutaway version so I don't see why it wouldn't be available in the regular van version for 2007.
The v10 is not available in the wagon but is available in the cargo style. I wanted a V10 in an E350xlt and it was not a option. I emailed ford and they said it could change for 08 but i couldn't wait and went with the diesel. Hope this helps.
Hey mike02ss, welcome to FTE. When did you check on getting a V10, and when did you get your van? Did you order it? Seems right now you can only order the 5.4 and the 4spd auto trany.
I checked as soon as the dealer was taking orders for the 07's. When I found out i tried finding an 06 with the v10 and the options i wanted to no avail. I ordered an 07 xlt with trailer tow package, diesel, 4.10 limited slip, sliding door, basically all the options except for backup sensor. Dealer called today and said the van is there, it was ordered on Feb 1st. Searched along time for an 06 because i really wanted the V10 over the diesel. Never owned a diesel vehicle before except for big diesel generators. Old van is a 1992 with the 460cu.in with 320,000 miles with one tranny rebuild and one fuel pump replaced. Hopefully the diesel will be as good
