Easy to set up, hard to make a buck? Most are just about advertising, aren't they? The all-invasive marketer just trying to find another facet of our lives to tell us about stuff we really don't need or care about?
The only things that come to mind about the "catch-phrases" you mentioned are companies like Quixtar, formerly Scam-way.
