manual trans options
I have a 1979 f100, i bought this truck 8 years ago and have allways wanted to put a four speed in it. I would like to go with a manual out of a car. Has anyone done this and what and how do you go about doing it. Any info would be great. thank you

What engine do you have ?
You will only have luck with a 302.
Check for threads with ZF 5 spd trans in them.
Also the FTE drivetrain forum may help.
People want these in Pre-73 trucks as well so the drivetrain forum is where most threads go.
