Okay...here's a new one for you (I think). Just recently started on my 2001 Diesel F-350. When shifting up or down, usually at lower RPMs, or even when slowing by removing one's foot off the throttle.....when I press back on the throttle I can go clear to the floor and get NO throttle response at all until I let up completely on the throttle and try again and then it responds fine.....kind of like double-clutching the throttle...any ideas?
More specifically the IVS (idle validation switch) that is part of the throttle pedal assembly. Look on top of the pedal and there are two sensor connectors. Clean them with electrical contact cleaner and see is it helps. If it does not PM me your email address and I'll send you the voltage chart and schematics so you can test the TPS
