i turn on my blinkers in my 88 5.0, and they turn on, but no blinking, is this just the blinker timer gone bad???
Probably, and since that's only a few dollars to swap I would change the blinker module first.
The other more complicated possibility is that the blinker module isn't getting enough voltage. The module's electronics require a minimum voltage to operate the switching. If you have a meter check to make sure that the blinker module contacts at the fuse box are getting about 14V with the hazards turned on that the truck running. Also watch the dash volt-meter to make sure that the whole truck is getting enough juice.
The flashers maybe $3.00, change it and all the bulbs at the same time, its spring time in CT. Hope it a great day for every one, I'm in the mood to clean up and tune up my Bronco !
