There is alot of misinformation on this board and others. All you need from a 5.4L truck to swap the engine is the complete engine(intake to oil pan), the exhaust manifolds,and you'll need to "adjust" the exhaust on your 4.6L truck. You'll need to use the spark plug wires and coil pack setup in place of the COP's if your 4.6L truck has those,and the EEC will need a tuning adjustment for displacement and spark tables.
It's fairly simple,just takes time. The worst part about it is the exhaust "adjustment".
