Replacement gears brand question
I don't know if this the appropriate forum, but here goes. I have an 04 f250, that I just purchased, ( at a good deal, but it seems a little sluggish ), with a 5.4 auto and 3.55 gears. I plan to upgrade to a lift and 35" tires, and swap gears to 4.56's. Of the two shops I have quoting me, one wants to install Yukon gears and the other is quoting Motive gears in the rear and Spicer gears in the front. My question is this. Are these gears American made or import?, And is one brand superior to the other in quality and durability? Thanks for any input you can provide.
PS: I also intend to do custom tunes, exhaust, and intake soon too!
