Tilt wheel won't work
I have a 1989 f150 lariat. Just replaced the accurator rod in the steering column. Now I can't get the tilt function to work. If I have the steering wheel and hub cover off, I can get it to work by depressing the spring loaded tilt mechanism at the bottom of the unit. But, when I put it all together (it appears to only go together one way) it doesn't work. I was very careful to put the pen-like spring back in its proper place. Any suggestions?
