tilt wheel spring

tilt wheel spring

I put new bearings in the steering column and have everything back together but how do you get the spring for the tilt steering compressed and back in place

thanks subford I forgot to say this is a 95 tilt wheel the link you had looked like a older column

Can you tell if you can get a tilt steering column for that style of dash as in Aus this was not an option

I am not sure how to answer your question.
I do not know what year or type truck you have.
Some salvage yards ship but I do not know how you go about getting them to ship to Aus.
Also we drive on the right side of the road here and I do not know if you can put a right hand column in a left hand truck or not.

No it is not.
The one in the photo has the wipers on the dash and the blinker arm is on the left side.
