Guys, I need to buy some deflectors for my X but not sure whether to get the stick on kind or the kind you simply slide in or however they work.
Also, should I get Black for my Pueblo gold truck or some smoke or something?
Is there a difference in quality?
The problem I have is that after it has rained and I drive and roll the window down. IF I stop, all this water just pours in right on top of my door/window controls on the drivers side and i'm afraid it'll ruin something.
I can see this thread turning into an arguement, Guiri quote "just ignore me and NO, I don't want to hear replies like..WE ARE!" hahaha, just joking.
I have those on my doors. They are very helpful and they also make your truck look really good. Ive never had the problem that you have stated. "The problem I have is that after it has rained and I drive and roll the window down. Especially when you use alot of mothers wax on them like i do . You should deffenelty get the black ones.
I like the kind that slip into the channel. They have glue on them to hold them in place securely. And they look better than being stuck to the exterior paint.

The problem is that I never make it up to speed. This happens when I take off from the house, come to the stopsign 20 feet up the road and stop and I get all this damn water coming in.
Black you say? I am leaning towards teh smoke though. Don't want them standing out too much. We'll see..
Id do both, the front and back. Its weird when ople just do the front or just do that back. Its worth it and these things actually work. Just remeber that you cant role the window down all of the way. They dont protect that good.
do both front and back, i have the type that stick on with tape. i used the smoked ones and my excursion is black. it is hard to tell that they are on the excursion. the tape will last a long time.
