I have a03 expy fx-4 5.4l w/98000 mi when on the highway I have a nice smooth ride until I reach 80-90mph then I can feel a vibration on the gas pedal. Does anyone else notice this. I was wondering if it could be the u-joint. If it is how do I know this and is it difficult to fix yourself. I consider myself pretty handy when it comes to repairs.

One other thing to check, just takes a minute. Check and make sure that your throttle cable under the hood is properly clipped in place. I got my oil changed once and they took the cable out of the clips to check something and failed to put it back in the clips. The gas pedal had a funny vibration for a couple of days until I figued out what happened.
