Are these the kits that will elimnate the return line to the oil pan, and send it to....??

 

It returns into the oil filler neck.
I didnt see online at the site and i couldnt get trough on the phone. I have the older oilguard and i want to purchase just the return to the filler neck so i can use my Fumoto as well as my oil guard? i also need some more tubing but i can get that at any home depot i bet. One other question real quick. My oil guard at the filter housing when the hood is closed the valve pushes down on the insulation a little at the bottom of the hood and it got so hot it burned some of the insulation. Does anyone elses hit the insulation. It dont hit the hood but i couldnt see them designing a thing that hits the insulation either. Ok long enough post .. thanks

This kit does return the oil to the top of the oil filler cap and eliminates the return to the drain pan.

Also, the billet oil filter cap has more clearance on top and should also eliminate touching the insulation.

The kit is available through the online store or by calling 760-967-0892. For existing OilGuard customers that have the older style 6.0 kit, we will offer upgrades to the billet aluminum parts at a reduced cost.

The upgrade kit is $25, it includes both the filter cap, and the oil fill cap. It's in the mail!

I just purchased the models EPS-10 ('03 T-Bird) & EPS-20 '(03 6.0 PSD). The top of the EPS-10 canister is the red billet & wondering if you have the oil filler cap in the red billet aluminum also.

I haven't installed the EPS-10 on my T-Bird yet It's the 3.9 liter V8 (T-Bird, Jaguar, Lincoln LS). The billet aluminum looks great with my T-Bird because it's the '03 '007-James Bond' version. The paint is the same color as the '56 T-Bird 'Fiesta Red'. For the '03 they called it 'Coral'.

Forgot to mention - I did receive the billet aluminum oil filler cap for the 6.0 PSD. Looks great! I've installed that kit already. Just had new synthetic oil put in the T-Bird about 2 weeks ago, so I'll wait until it needs an oil change before draining that engine.

Just a quick correction, the full upgrade kit (Billet filter cap and billet oil filler cap) is $50 for OilGuard customers that have already purchased the 6.0 OilGuard kit. We are charging only the price difference between the old kit and the new kit ($240 vs. $290). Any customer that desires to only purchase the billet oil filler cap, it is available for $25 (this is also a special upgrade offer only for customers that have purchased 6.0 kits in the past).
