Causes for P0117?
Hi - I wandered over from the Ranger forums... Need a little info...
97 Windstar 3.0L, Getting a Check Engine light - scanner says P0117
Engine Coolant Temp Circuit Low Input
Is there some typical cause for this, or something I should be looking for? Bad sensor, broken wire, etc?
If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would sure appreciate!

This should be fairly self evident, there is a problem with the sensor or its wiring. Bad sensor is the primary culprit. BTW, these Windstars are nothing like Aerostars. Windstar is closer to the Taurus, so you may have more luck in a Taurus Forum. Sorry I can't be more helpful, maybe someone here has a Windstar. But I think a code like that is fairly straightforward.
