Double Firewall

my 91 f-250 7.3l would have a double firewall, correct?

noone can confirm for my that these truck had a double firewall?

I don't think it is truly a double, but reinforced around the brake and clutch master maybe. It is doubled up there.

so the passenger side shouldnt be double? i was just wondering cause i might need to run some power cables through. thanks for the post.

thanks, but after a second look it seams a bit crowded, might have to find another way. Any have a mobil cb unit in there truck? where did you run the power and coax, i have a morror mounted wilson silverload, soon to be dual whips.

Which battery should i run the power off of, or does it matter?

i think there is a rubber plug in the firewall below the heater box it could be coverd with the floor covering

i take power for the CB off of the accessory fuse tap in the fuse box.
antenna is on the headache rack, and coax goes out through a rubber plug on the driver side below the brake master.

my galaxie export 10 meter radio only draws 6 amps with a 25 watt output, so a CB will only draw like 1 or 2 if it is not hooked to a linear.
