Everytime I take my key out of the ignition, the truck still has full power. The engine is off, but the radio, a/c, windows, etc. Still work and I dont know whats going on. Its a 1999 f250 superduty.
Sounds to me like an ingnition switch issue. You may get a better answer in either the electrical/wiring section, or even the 97-03 F150 section. Lots of good folks here.
Does it stop when you open the door? I don't know if it was like my 2006. Everything works in mine after I turn it off and take the key out, until I open the door.
I know that on the 99-up super duty trucks there is an accessory delay but it should only run the windows. It will work for 5 minutes or until a door is opened but the radio, blower motor and such should not function.

The radio in my 2006 still works after I shutdown. The blower motor doesn't though.
Yeah i dont know... the only thing that I can think is the ignition "thing" is broke. The trucks shuts off obviously when the key is turned back, but I still have power to everything else, so maybe the ignition doesnt know that the key is actually out so it is allowing everything to work. Any comments or educated guesses would be appreciated!?!?!
No luck in eletrical forum. I did replace the ignition switch and it wasnt that, so i am pretty stumped. Last night I ended up taking alot of stuff apart and found a weird clicking in the fuze box. I looked at every fuze and only one was shot. So i didnt exactly have the fuze layout with me (because its in the owners manual) but am guessing that would be causing my problem.
