Nah, I got rid of mine, actually my mom and pop got rid of it for since I was only 14. I hit a parked car head on. You'd be surprised how fast those can jump out in front of you . Anyway, it's a long story, but one I'll never forget, mainly because my folks won't let me.
Technically, I'm still driving it, even though the cab now sits on a 3/4 ton 4x4 chassis... That will soon be fixed though, and I'll have my F100 FlareSide back.... I've had this truck for the last 4 years...
Evan
Still have mine. An '82 Z28 with the crossfire 5 liter in it. The odometer reads a little over 80,000 miles.
The engine was pulled at 37,000, bored, balanced, cammed and chipped. Put on Corvette injectors and port matched the runners to the heads. Custom headers, exhaust and Rancho tuned suspension. Fitted a TH350 after blowing the original tranny while doing a burn-out. Still a dog but it did ok for the era of <200hp V8's that were being produced. (yes, I was a street racing punk before all these new ricers were even out of their diapers)
Has 4 wheel disc brakes, fuel injection and all, not bad for '82. The little hood scoop flaps still open at WOT, pretty cool feature on the 82-84's.
Sorry thing is that I was away from home for over two years and my pops forgot to go start it once a month like I had asked. It sat for over two years w/o running, and I have been afraid to start it since. My new plan is to just drop a big block into it eventually and go suprise some ricer in his high tech import.
I Have the car I rode home in from the hospital when I was born....................how cools that............dad bought it in 72 and I was borned in 73..............I grew up with it always being around.........................and I can't foresee it going any where......
Yes its my 72 mach 1, 351 cleveland, Q-code, hurst 4 speed, red with black mach 1 strips, ram air hood, and 43,000 miles on her
Yep! I still have my first vehicle. 69' Camaro RS ragtop. Great cruising machine. Fast for a simple 350 v8.
Can't say that I was brought home form the hospital in it but I was three years old when Dad & Mom purchased it.
It's in my garage ready to roll. Jake.
I still have and drive my first NEW truck. Next year she will be 30 years old. "74 F-100,391, C-6 with shift kit, Comp cam with all Comp valve set and timing gear, Edelbrock with a Carter Superquad, Hooker headers,Excel ignition, 460 1ton cooling system, ported PI heads, double valve springs, and a few other goodies. And ALL of the 278,000 miles were put on it by me as nobody but me drives Ms. Babe.
