got a chance to look over some 08 superdutys today. man they really plaster that name all over that truck?? those big mirrors might help when towing but they sure are ugly?. anybody seem them up close? whats your say on them?. like the 07's much better. front grills are nicer and lights. new lights are kind of weird for a big truck. have to see how they sell. maybe they will grow on me.

almost everyone has seen them in person and alot of people already have theirs...the new style is definatley better in person but i agree with you about the superduty being stamped everywhere...the lights look better in person and i think they did a pretty good job...but i do like mine better...

well i think when it comes time to trade my 06 in about 2010, i will probably like it alot more...now the f450 with the front fender flares and the dual rear wheels is just sick looking...that is probably the baddest truck i have ever seen...the front end just lloks way to big on a f250 supercab 6ft bed

I agree, they did do a good job on the 350 duallie and 450. When it first came out on the internet I hated it. Then I went to the cleveland auto last week show and sat in a loaded with every option King Kanch 450 Duallie, i loved it. Those mirrors are huge! Alot bigger then i thought. Im still getting used to the 250 or the 350 srw. The srw looks to small for that front end.

looks like ford put the superduty name on too many places, like inside of the dashboard, top of front grill and i think maybe the tailgate but not sure. i love ford trucks dont get me wrong but i think they need to keep it pretty much the same as the 07 model, which are cool looking trucks. they seem to be trying to hard to show the name of that truck off??.

Yeah i wasnt a big fan of the lights before but now they have grown on me ill have to check them out in person the look impressive

Honestly I like the Superduty name on the windshield, but they could have stopped there for me. The headlights flip flopped maybe better per the height of the truck. The superduty is tall. Lower the better for fog and such. They maybe closer to rear view mirror height for most cars now though. One member already commented on a motorist jumping out of there car and bitching about how bright the lights were on his 08. I love my dumbo mirrors on my 01. The 08 doesn't bother me one bit. Bigger mean I should be able to see even more. I guess I can get used to these 08s. I'm still in shock over coil springs a few years ago. Front leafs was many of many reasons I feel in love with the sd in the first place.

Personaly its not that bad. When I first saw them on the internet it looks dumb, But after seening them on the lots and on the roads. (even had one behind me) the Superduty name on the grill, dash and I think the tail gate also don't look bad at all. Try not to stare at it.
The names add some touch to it. I saw some sticker price of a few F450. one of the F450 total tally was 58 thousands and some odd hundred of dollars. Ouch.
I seen about 5 of them on the roads already.

I got a chance to go over them at the Chicago auto show and I must say that the headlights and mirrors are horrible. The mirrors were changed because they are motorized for both folding and extending now, so I guess that's okay. The headlights are still retarded. They said that they were changed because of complaints from car drivers that the beams were too distracting. The slide out step is awesome, but I can see it rusting out after a winter or two because its only painted steel with a nylon guide. The demo already had some minor scuffs from being cycled often. Salt would eat that thing alive. Other than that I think it looks BEEFCAKE!!!!!
