Dash Removal

Help with dash removal to replace blend door and blend door motor. I have followed the alldata instructions but cannot figure out what I am missing. Is there any tricks that I am not doing. The dash is loose but hung on the top drivers side and will not come off. Please help.

There is one single screw that is located between the bottom of the speedometer recess and the top of the steering column that keeps it all from coming out. The steering column must lowered by loosening the nuts that hold it up to the dash, then a socket on a six inch extension can be used to take it out. It is difficult to see the screw head without a flashlight and it is impossible to see or remove without first lowering the steering column.
