Hmmmmmm....I think I'm messin up the works here because I keep seeing newbie threads to respond to, and don't know which one is first!
Anyway, I'm Tim, and like I posted in the sticky above, I've got a couple Fords...
1. Maynard the Minimal: My '88 F150 Custom, 4.9L, 5sp. Gave him the name as he came with minimal options...no headliner, no carpet, no power anything, except steering and brakes. Got him cheap from Craigslist, and fixed him up a bit. Turning out to be a good little truck.
2. Buford the Behemoth: This is my project. It's a '79 F250 Ranger XLT Supercab Trailer Special 4x4...yes, Ford went spastic with the badging that year. Anyway, it went from wanting to put a paintjob on it, to a complete exercise in overkill. I try to post my progress in the 73-79 Thread, and keep pictures in my album if anyone is curious.
thanks for the welcome everybody - i look forward to contributing to the chapter!
and mike, a g2g on the peninsula or even whidbey would be really cool.... unfortunately with my job, my days off are split, so weekends are typically short, and my gas budget can get pretty tight sometimes...
HI Everyone. Just about finished a deal with someone about a 64 F-250 in Oak Harbor. As soon as I have photo's I'll post them. She's abeaut with a mod 351 windsor and TONS of Character. anyone wanting to offer some suggestions as to restoration, I would be greatful, have a new family and need to save money, but want to try my hand at this.
