New Members

I had been trying to post 'New Members' in the Chapter Annoucements' thread, but started thinking that the announcement might get lost, so I thought this would be a good way for us to see who are new members are and welcome them to our chapter.

hello all,

I recently bought a 74 F250 360/420/205div. 4x4 and now joined the chapter. it started duty as a plow truck but the homemade frame attachment did some serious damage to the frame rail. so off the plow came and now i'm in the process of rebuilding and replacing many neglected parts. I'm kinda new to building fords so i hope to gain much from all of you.
thanx in advance.....
C

Hi y'all, welcome aboard and good to see ya' here

I'm Rex, retired Navy living on Whidbey Island. Owned Ford trucks since 1975 and we always got along together. Donna and I live in our own patch of the woods we cleared and built on. Have 3 dawgs and 2 Amazons* plus lots of wood critters.

*Parrots! you sex-crazed peeps

I found this site, by forutuitous accident, and have been a Ford truck Man, since before I had my drivers license my wife and I have a 2000 F250 PSD, and I am just getting PMS (Powerstroke Modification Syndrome) we eventually plan on upsizing our fleet to add a F450 crew cab, and I get to have the 250 as my designated tow rig, I have a toyota 4X4 that will eventually need to be trailered, and my wife uses the truck currently to haul her horses, the reason for the crew cab in the future, is due to very limited room in the extended cab for child safety seats, and we are growing our family right now, just had our first in september, and she is growing like a weed :bigparty

Welcome spidertoy!

A F450 whew, big truck. You'll love these crewcabs, lots of room for trips and youngun's. Will that be the 6.8L Triton V10 or the 6.4L PS? You'll be pulling good all day uphill with that 600+ lbs torque. I'm jealous!
