I usualy just check in here daily and post when i need help and let the more knowledgeable help everyone out.Just thought I'd let you know what I found while changing my tranny oil.I was going to just fill my trans by removing my shift and check to see why it had so much play.What i found was the steel pins which hold the plastic buttons where worn half their size and the buttons which I was expecting to replace were still perfect.I'm thinking someone else replaced a set of buttons previously and the pins were left.I couldn't find replacement parts quick so I machined new pins out of drill rod ( 10mm) and it shifts much better,anyone else seen these pins wear out? Must of had a button missing for quite some time previously for this much wear to take place.
