how measure "true" level?

how measure "true" level?
hey guys, where do you measure to see if you are "truely" level front v. rear bumper ? front of bed v. rear of bed ? front of door trim v. rear ? i'm getting different measurements at each location and not liking current look i've got on 4' all spring bds 2000 v10 sc w 35 pc mt's am going up to a 6' with 37's and want to know what combo of front hanger and rear block to go with for "the proper look "

I found on my 2000 that mesuring at the front of the cab and just in front of the rear tire is the easiest and probably the most accurate. I'm not sure about what combo to go with, I just have a 3" leveling kit on mine. It sits perfect, a half inch lower in the front.
