Just a question on the subject, and I know peoples preferences differ. Some people like there truck level when they lift it. Some people like to keep a rake when they lift it.
How are you guys measuring to find out what you have going on?
I look at mine I can clearly tell there is a rake to it, but I put a big *** level bar on the bed and it says the truck is level. Cant measure the wheel wheels because they look like the rear is cut up higher than the front. Cant measure the bottom of the cab and bed because its not straight in all the places. Mine has the two tone blue on top, with the gold on the bottom section thats straight with the body line, so that what I measured from the ground to know how much higher I am in the rear.
It does not matter how we do it, it only matters how you like it. If it looks good to you that is all that matters. And I measure mine to the center of the wheel wells when I have to measure it for a modification.
I was just curious. I like my rake on my, but its a little more than what I needed even when I tow. Im adding 1 inch shackles on the front tomorrow to see how it sits then.
I don't typically like using raised shackles but there are some good ones out there. You could also do front air bags from air lift to help level it and they help support the heavy diesel. I have bags on the front and rear of my truck.
