Anybody have a CB?

Anyone have a CB in a vehicle?
Would be a neat way to stay in touch if afew of us did get some this summer.
I haven`t had one for years but I`m thinking of getting one.

That sounds like a cool idea a cb suits a good ol pickup truck neat idea... never had one but wouldnt mind having one...

we have a few kicking around, from back in the truckin days, and out of tractors we have sold. i'd like to put one in the Ranger, maybe pops will give me one.......

I think that a CB is around the $100 mark plus the cost of the aerial, I`ll have to check into it.
Would be neat to have another one, it`s been years since I was on last.

i'd actually really like to get a VHF but they are $$$$$$ and we have old CB's in some of teh Tractors and sileage trucks

I got several old cbs kicking around . Some Cobras,Realistics and some have the side band as well. Back in the seventies everyone had one lol. I wonder what all the truckers use now. Surely they got to be better than the old ones. I think the most they put out back then was 4 watts on AM.

I have one in the Crew Cab, going to put one in the Lada. Good to talk balk and forth off road, listen to the truckers etc.

I have a few cb's. We used to use them in high school, to tell each other where the cops were, and where you could aand couldnt get away with drinking lol. The vhf are much better, and last I heard they went down a little in price.
