Changed all the plugs and boots, no change. Chased a new coil around the engine till I hit #8. Runs great now. All of the plugs I removed looked worn but not terrible. though they were all gapped at .044 or less. Any ideas on why someone would do that? Anyway I will know where to start the next time. Thanks for the direction and the help.
As far as the plug gaps - It's not what someone does sometimes; it's what they don't do. They didn't check the gap before they installed them. Folks just assume that since they have new plugs in the box they must be gapped correctly. Wrong...
