having a hard time posting picks

i have a couple of pics id like to put on here, i saved them to my desktop but when i put it on here it takes up the whole thread and wont let me type anything?
im not computer savy, please help

Well, they want you to post them as attachments. It lets others choose to see them (dial-up users).

I believe at one time only Supporters had the ability to post attachments. Not sure if that is/was really true? Click on the "Go Advanced" and scroll down. You should see a section for managing attachments (attach files). If it's not there, or you already knew this info, I don't know what to tell you .

start a photobucket account, then post your pictures there. once they are in photobucket, you can just copy the link and past it to the forum.

use the link for posting just that... a link. the img will be a direct post of a pic onto the forum. and yes, photobuck is one of the easiest to use (and free).
