I have no experience with dynos but the guys at tds are having a good descusion going about it and even they are not sure about the correct way to do it.
I hope to get on one this summer in az somewhere.
Yeah, I've been reading that thread. But they are stuck on automatics. I thought about asking about standards, but it looked to me like that thread was gonna get ugly like so many of them do over there. I didn't want to get in on it.
Also you should look into the idm mod before you dyno. I have seen 20hp/60lbft torque increase numbers on some web page.
Bean has it on his list of stuff to make 350hp in his kit. It is really cheap if you have the nuts to do it yourself.

I have the nuts, but I don't have the knowledge or skill. I was actually really concidering doing it. I have a friend that has done it, but he wants $100 to do it. Not to mention, between now and Sat. I've got Wed. evening to work, and Fri. evening. Between my night shift job I'm at right now, and my welding job I have on the back half of the week, I don't have alot of time. And that's something I don't want to chance right now. I've still got to do a full service on the dually, but in order to do that, I've got to put the whole front axle on my mud racer back together and get it out of the way. So that will take up wed. evening, and leave me with fri. night to prepare. Basicly, I'm outta time. The only reason I'm still on line right now, is work is slow.
haha sounds like a lot of fun and work with all the projects. Bean wants $100 for his too, I might just get one from him cuz I would spent $50 on new tools and probaly screw it up and have to buy another one off ebay. Good luck with the projects and the dyno this weekend
