I've been working this problem now for several days to no avail. My wipers will work on the highest setting. Not intermittent or slow. I've tried changing the handle, same problem. I changed the motor, same problem. I had put my old handle back in after the new ones (I tried two) didn't work. I can hear the motor switch activate when I turn the switch handle. What else is there?
I swapped the hi/low and the wiper run relays. It started working but not totally. So one of them is bad. At least I'm heading in the right direction. Thanks people.
I went around to several different auto stores to see if I could find a suitable sub for my relay. None to be had by anybody. So I got to looking in the book and under the hood. The horn relay is the exact same. I switch the park/run relay (sense that was the one that wasn't working properly now) with the horn relay. Everything is working including the horn! I don't understand but I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth either. I even went out an hour later and tried it again just to make sure my mind wasn't playing tricks on me and it's still working. YEA!!!!!!
