66 cab insulation
Spent several hours at the local pick & pull yesterday. The good news is I found an almost perfect fit for my roof insulation. LOL, couldn't find anything in the ford section, but if your looking, try the trunk liners out of a caddy, buick or honda. They are all pretty much the same size & shape. I chose the honda cus it had a thicker insulation backing on it. LOL, I had to struggle getting it in between the bow & the roof, but it fits beautifully. I'll have to piece in a couple of 6"x12" pieces on the back corners cuz of the shape but BOY what a difference....
. Keeps the heat out really nice.Just thought I share.

You'll notice the roof noise reduction the next time you're in a heavy rain or hail storm.
I've already got insulation on the floors that I snagged from a truck in the junk yard. I've still got to do the doors and windows but I just don't have all that much noise that bothers me. I can hear my radio just fine..
This is the flat carpet type piece that covers the spare tire. The honda was the only one I saw that had a 1/2" of insulation attached to it. It's a really nice piece. I will try to get some pictures to put on my galley. I'll post it when I do.
guess since I've made a few changes to her I really should get the pic's in.
