I'm looking at an Edge for my truck...i just got it a couple days ago so i don't want any complaints about warrenty stuff so wehn i take the truck in for service i'm putting it back to stock and i want to take it out of the truck totally...
How did you guys mount your Edge or how do you recomend i mount it so i can take it in and out without them knowing i have one...

I used the dash pod provided. I just did not use double sided tape to hold it down. You can't tell. If fits snug so it won't move around. I did that for the same reason. You just put it back to stock, unplug it, and when you're done at the dealer put it right back in. No problems.

and without using the double sided tape it stayed still and didn't move around.....how does the mouting pod mount on the dash....i know it's above the left air vent but how does it stay still without the double sided tape..

Set it on there. You will see. It will not be super snug and will probably stick up in the rear a bit, but it will not move around when driving. When you close the door, it holds it in place. Good Luck and Enjoy!!! Great Product.
Mine came with the velcro and the double sided tape....way I figure....if they ask what I mount there...it's an MP3 player!!! Didn't want it stolen by the stealership so I took it out!!!
