6.0 Intercooler

I know this is a popular mod for those who tow heavy loads often, but I don't(at least not yet). Would I have anything to gain from installing a 6.0 intercooler?

well its realatively cheap and "once its done, its done" kind of mentallity, cant hurt and definitely helps egts!!!!!!!!!!!

I found one for a good price locally and I am going to purchase it. How involved is the install? It comes with the boots and tubes as well.

it takes more or less about an hour if you have everything ready (that includes clean up) its sooo easy you'll have no problems

You need longer boots for both sides, and the driver's side (hot side) is a smaller inlet than the stock 7.3L intercooler. So you'll also need a new hose clamp that fits.

Also, you might have some trouble with the stock tranny cooler lines getting in the way of the new intercooler. I managed to get mine to fit, but barely.
